News from our Elementary Principal, Ben Voborsky
Hello GAA community,
Ramadan Kareem. The GAA Ramadan schedule started this week. Teachers are continuing to provide engaging hands-on instruction in our classrooms. As June 23rd, the last day of school, approaches it is clear that the GAA community is getting ready to explore the world over the summer vacation! Many students have been sharing with me their exciting summer plans. I wish safe travels to those who are departing early. If you are departing early, I would like to remind you to let your class teacher and Felicity Harding know <[email protected]>. Your class teacher can provide your family with learning engagements that will be missed as well as suggested summer learning activities.
The final two weeks of school will be fantastic! Report cards will be released digitally on June 23rd. Enjoy your weekend.
Ramadan Mubarak!

Thank you to the grade 5 families that came to one of our two information sessions welcoming you to grade 6 at GAA.
We had a good turn out with great questions and we really look forward to getting to know you better next year. I am including the slideshow presentation for your reference. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate in contacting me.

This week the children have been working with their favourite activity. We discussed what the children liked doing best in the classroom and why. The children were then able to use those activities and show their friends. We also took the chance to say 'goodbye' to some of our friends as they begin their summer holidays!
