News from Head of School - Kathy Miner
Dear Parents,
The magic of our community can be found in the everyday interactions throughout the school- the warmth, the welcoming spirit and the relationships that are built and sustained throughout the year. Visitors in our school can immediately sense our culture of kindness, a signature of our school community that reflects our core values and philosophy of education. We are all part of the something special at our school, the connections and relationships as we partner to support, care for and educate our children.
Throughout our curriculum we include important social-emotional components aimed at teaching students to be respectful, to be responsible and to be a learner at GAA. We encourage our parent community to support our efforts in teaching our students how to live together with respect, care and acceptance of one another. Our GAAPA parents, teachers and counselors are collaborating to develop a fantastic learning opportunity for our students with the upcoming Anti-Bullying Week planned in October.
Some of the activities included in Anti-bullying Week:
Special events, such as the upcoming Harvest Festival, is a great way for us to come together as a community to support and celebrate our diverse and caring GAA community.
