News from Head of School - Kathy Miner
Dear Parents
Thank you to all of our parents who helped to make the International Food Festival an amazing success! What a great way to gather as a community to share fantastic foods from around the globe- thank you!
I hope you had an opportunity to participate in our Parent Engagement Week. We believe that parents are our critical partners in the education of children. We are grateful for the opportunity to share learning strategies and ideas for parents to support learning and achievement at home.
We are mid-way through the academic year and heading toward the spring break. Before spring arrives is the time to reiterate our expectations with students for their dress, behavior and academic performance. Please support our efforts in helping your child to review and recommit to school expectations as we head into spring and the final months of school. It is always best to support a strong finish to the school year.
Be sure to mark your calendars for the upcoming spring music and theater performances and productions. You won’t want to miss these wonderful spring performances as they help to celebrate the progress your child has made throughout the year.
Regards,
Kathy Miner

Re-enrollment closes on March 31st!
Kindly be reminded that re-enrollment is now open for the 2016/17 academic year. Re-enrollment is your opportunity to let us know whether your child will be returning next year or not. Attached to this email is a revised step by step guide to help you with this process which must be completed whether you plan to return or not.
Please don’t hesitate to contact administration if you have any questions. Without this process being completed correctly you may lose your seat for next school year.
This year you must re-enroll by taking these 2 steps:
The re-enrollment form is available through the GEMS OASIS system. It will provide parents the opportunity to pay online with a credit card, or you may pay at the school accounts office.
Your child/ren re-enrollment will not be successful if you did not complete the online form or paid the deposit, hence we will offer your child’s place to another student on our waiting list.
The 5% deposit will be deducted from the Term 1 fees when they are due in September 2016.
If you require any further details regarding the re-registration, or have any questions regarding the process, please contact our admissions or accounts offices. Please see below Reenrollment FAQ for your attention.
