Mrs. Sarah Bennell has joined GEMS American Academy as the Elementary School Secretary. Sarah and her family have lived in Abu Dhabi for seven years, having moved here from their previous home in Lexington, Virginia. Sarah is looking forward to working with the GEMS faculty and staff, students and their parents and is excited by having this opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the school.

NSO Symphony Orchestra's Chamber Music
Series presents, 'The Story of Babar'
The NSO Chamber Music Ensemble, comprised of professional instrumentalists of the NSO Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Maestro Andrew Berryman, will perform French composer Francis Poulenc's delightful musical interpretation of the beloved children's book, 'The Story of Babar'. Narrated in English by Abu Dhabi Classic FM 'Breakfast Show' announcer Damian Watson, this Abu Dhabi premier performance, along with other children's literature inspired selected chamber works by Ravel, Mozart and Saint-Saëns, will delight the entire family! This one hour performance with interval is in support of the 'Make A Wish Foundation UAE'.
