Late Bus
There will be no late bus (16:30) running from Tuesday the 9th of June. This is due to all after school programs finishing. All students who require bus transportation home should depart on the normal after school bus transportation.
JEAC Basketball
A big CONGRATULATIONS to all our grade 4, 5 and 6 basketball teams who participated in the end of season tournament on Saturday the 30th of May. In the coming week a special assembly will be held to recognise the students efforts and participation certificates handed out.
Thank you to the many parents who attended on the day to support the various teams.
Athletic Banquet
On Wednesday the 27th of May GAA Wildcats hosted the annual Athletic Banquet. This years event saw 380 parents, teachers and most importantly students come together to celebrate the success of the year in athletics. The evening was held at the Crown Plaza on Yas Island.
Students were recognised for being three season athletes, Wildcat supporters in addition to awards for each sports team throughout the year. It was an evening of celebration of student achievement.
I would again like to congratulate all students on their participation and achievements for the year. To those students who were recognised with an award, I know it was well deserved and you should be proud of your success.
The end of the evening was used to celebrate the efforts of our Wildcats Booster Club who have been dedicated to improving the athletics program with in the school. The Booster Club were instrumental in the success of the banquet and I would again like to thank Jessica Krystosek (President), Anne Robbins (Vice President), Maria Svensson (Treasurer) and Helen Roselt ( Concession stand manager) for all their time in making this a successful year
