Hello GAA Community,
GAA continues to grow, but we are pleased to reassure parents that the growth will be steady and manageable. At present our numbers are approaching 1,500 students for next year. Dina Morad and her capable team will continue to assess students over the summer. As you know our assessment criteria is very rigorous to ensure we can meet every student’s needs at GAA.
We are looking forward to a smooth start in August and class sizes will remain well within international standards. No class will be over 25 students and many will be smaller.
We enjoyed a lovely staff event last week to thank all of our teachers and staff who have worked so hard this year. Teachers enjoyed a buffet dinner and special music played by our staff band “The Abu Dhabi Sound Machine”. I would like to thank all those who worked so hard to organize this event.
Lots of exciting trips, community shares and assemblies to look forward to next week - please make sure you check the elementary and secondary calendars on this newsletter to keep up to date with our last week of school.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend
Barbara Mckenzie
